Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Movil.dev macOS application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Movil.dev is a professional development tool that provides a curated library of SwiftUI UI components, an AI-powered code assistant, and project management tools for Apple platform developers.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on macOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App

3. Subscription Plans

3.1 Basic Plan (Free)

The Basic plan is available at no cost and includes the following features:

• Premium iOS Components: Access to a curated set of SwiftUI components
• 100% Accurate SwiftUI Code: All generated code is production-ready and compiles natively
• Dark-Light Mode Support: Components support both light and dark appearance modes
• Code with Claude and ChatGPT: AI-assisted code generation using built-in models

3.2 Pro Plan ($89.99/year)

The Pro plan includes everything in Basic, plus:

• Premium UI Kits: Access to professionally designed, complete UI kits and templates
• All Apple Ecosystems: Components optimized for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS
• 3rd-Party Assets Included: Bundled icons, illustrations, and graphic assets from premium providers
• Links to Custom Fonts: Direct access to curated custom font resources for your projects

Pro subscriptions are billed annually. You may switch between Yearly and Monthly billing where available. Monthly billing is offered at standard rates without the annual discount. Save 30% with yearly billing.

4. Payments and Billing

All subscription purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing to the Pro plan, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The App, including its design, features, UI components library, AI models integration, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Movil.dev and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Generated Code

Code generated using the App's AI assistant or exported from the component library is provided for your use in your own projects. You retain ownership of the applications and products you build using the generated code. However, the underlying component templates, designs, and AI models remain the property of Movil.dev and its licensors.

5.3 Third-Party Assets

Some assets available through the Pro plan (icons, illustrations, fonts) are licensed from third-party providers. These assets are licensed for use within your projects but may not be redistributed as standalone assets. Please refer to individual asset licenses where applicable.

6. AI Assistant Usage

The AI Assistant feature is provided as a productivity tool. When using the AI Assistant:

• AI-generated code is provided "as-is" and should be reviewed before use in production
• Free-tier users receive a limited number of AI requests (currently 5 per account)
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
• You are responsible for ensuring any AI-generated code complies with applicable laws and licenses
• Do not submit sensitive, proprietary, or confidential information to the AI Assistant

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App to create content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or access Pro features without a valid subscription
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract component data or AI responses
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools to abuse AI request limits

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee that any code generated by the App or its AI features will be free of bugs or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOVIL.DEV AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any bugs, errors, or inaccuracies in AI-generated or component code
• Any other matter relating to the App

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through app updates or in-app notifications. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
